Michael Hunt

Michael Hunt began serving in the ministry in 2012. He began his bi-vocational ministry in 2015 as an interim Youth Pastor in Centralia, MO and later took a permanent bi-vocational Associate Pastor of Youth in Huntsville, MO, where he served for 6 years. In 2022, he began full-time ministry at First Baptist Church of Moberly as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families. He was saved at the age of 8 but he fully surrendered his life to Christ at the age of 18. He was called to the ministry at a Men’s conference in 2012 and began being mentored by his Senior Pastor. Michael married the love of his life, Laura, in 1995 and they have one daughter, Alana. Alana has been married to Jacob since 2019 and she works as a Registered Nurse at the University of Missouri. Michael also serves as the Randolph County Ambassador for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His passion is to see the Gospel proclaimed through our students and looks forward to seeing how God will continue to work in our church, our town, Randolph County and the surrounding area.
