Sunday School is our main discipleship program at First Baptist Church. It is the BEST way for your entire family to be engaged in biblical learning and training. We offer classes for every age in your family.
Nursery and Preschool

Our preschool area can be found on the main floor near the church parking lot.
Children and Youth
K-2nd Grade- Lori Trusty: Lori Trusty loves teaching our K-2nd graders! Each week, they learn the Bible, sing songs, and make a craft. You can find Lori's class in room 103.
3rd-5th Grade- Susan Saine- Susan Saine is our 3rd-5th grade teacher. Her class always learns a Bible lesson, does a craft, and even has a snack! You can find Susan's class in room 105.
6-12 Grade: Pastor Michael Hunt- Our youth group meets on the third floor in room 204. The classroom environment is conversational and instructional, and it is open to any teenager who wants to grow in their faith.
Adults
Steve Lee: Steve's class meets on the second floor in room 202. This class mainly consists of adults who range in age. This class utilizes small group videos and discusses many key biblical concepts and stories around small tables in the room.
Larry Black: Larry's class meets on the second floor in room 203. The class refers to themselves as "middle adults," as most members are in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. The Bible studies the class engages in are based on Explore the Bible materials, including book-by-book studies that alternate (quarterly) through the Bible. The class has an active intercessory prayer ministry and utilizes a combination of lectures and interactive discussions during their Bible study times.
Steve Metzger: Steve's class meets in our church parlor on the main floor, on the south side of our sanctuary. This class is comprised of mostly senior adults who love each other and love the Lord!
Mary Harris: Mary's class is among our most unique Sunday School classes! The class meets in our Conference Room on the main floor by our church offices. This class is unique because it utilizes a conference call to our homebound members, which helps them participate in our weekly Sunday School. Afterwards, many of our homebound members join our live broadcast on the radio, found on 92.5FM or 1230AM. If you would like to be involved in the conference call class, please let our church office know by giving them a call.
